The board of Banpu Plc (BANPU), Thailand’s largest coal miner conglomerate, agreed to appoint Phatra Securities Plc (PHATRA) as its financial advisor in an acquiring scheme of Australia’s Centennial Coal Co., Ltd. through its Singapore-based subsidiary Banpu Minerals (Singapore) Pte., Ltd.

Somreudee Chaimongkol, vice-president for finance at the company, said Phatra Securities will be responsible for financial advisory activities including assets and price valuations processes.
