New IPOs set to spin off
Despite the current market slowdown, several Thai companies announced they are ready for a spin off of new issued common shares in an initial public offering.
Toyo-Thai Corporation Plc (TTCL) said it is set to sell the new issued shares in the initial public offering on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on June 16 at 4.25 baht each.
Of the share price was include 30% discount, which reported receiving a four-times bid higher than the offer price from several institutional investors.
Asset Pro Management Plc (APM) is confident that its IPO price remains attractive despite the market tumble on Monday.
Statistics show that its shares price traded up over 20% higher than the initial public offering price.
The manufacturer of street lamps and indoor lights system Thireemonkol Industry Plc expects to file for an initial public offering of its shares with the Stock Exchange of Thailand in the fourth quarter of the year.
It aims to spin off around 50 million to 100 million shares or 20-25% of the current registered shares.
Mobile phone retailer JMART said it set an IPO price for its 75 million common shares at 1.80 baht each. Investors are welcome to offer bid on June 17-18 before officially go on trade in the secondary market.
