The industry minister, Suwit Khunkitti, expressed confident on Friday that foreign investors are still positive towards Thailand despite being undermined by the current global economic uncertainties and the local political disturbance.

Mr. Suwit said the foreign investors want to invest more in various industries in Thailand, especially in the auto parts industry, which gain several incentive packages from the government and the Asean Free Trade Area (AFTA) agreements.

He advised investors to cash in on the free trade area (FTA) Thailand had made with neighbors in order to get the maximum benefits from their investments.
